The Field Chooser

You can select which fields to display in List View, Grid View, and the Fields panel. Choose Edit Fields from the field list menu at the top of the Fields panel.

Choosing fields#

The Field Chooser shows a list of all fields in the catalog on the left, and fields displayed in the current view on the right.

• To add a field to the current view, drag it from the list on the left to the list on the right.

• To change the order in which Portfolio displays fields, drag a field up or down in the list on the right.

• To remove a field from the current view, drag it out of the list on the right.

• To narrow down the list of fields on the left, start typing in the filter field above the list.

  For example, type “cam” to display all fields with “camera” in the name.

Click Save to save your changes.

Field List Presets#

Users with the Catalog Administrator or Publisher role can save a list of fields as a preset that any member of the catalog can use.

In the Field Chooser, you can:

• Choose a preset to edit from the Presets menu at the top of the dialog;

• Click + to add a new preset;

• Click − to remove the selected preset.
